Abstract landscapes capture the spirit of a place without boundaries, where imagination and memory intertwine.
In abstract landscapes, I blend reality with emotion, creating scenes that evoke a sense of place without strict representation. These works allow me to explore nature through shapes, colors, and textures, where each piece is a feeling—a snapshot of an emotional landscape rather than a physical one.
Sea-Stones, Old Head's Enchantment
At Old Head I stand, upon the shore, where Mulranny's visage peeks from yonder lore. In stones, I glimpse the hues abstract, a canvas in my mind they enact. Each rock embodies the ocean's charm, their colours and forms disarm. Yet should you take them home, this magic fades, a spell forlorn. How long have they lingered here? How much time and nature's tears have sculpted these stones to appear? In every pebble lies life's embrace, the ocean's whispers leave their trace. The sea itself doth breathe existence, no greater theme could meet resistance.
